"The Empty Bowls money this year will help us expand our urban gardens and greenhouse which provide free, fresh and organic vegetables for the Cass kitchen and residents of the neighborhood. The crops include lettuce, radishes, squash, green peppers, tomatoes, corn, cabbage, potatoes and herbs. A new farm will be added this summer which will allow us to grow and harvest produce year-round!"
